Raised in a single-parent home, Marques was taught early on the values of resilience, accountability, and fairness. He carried those lessons with him to Howard University, where he played Division I football, and eventually to the NFL, where he spent five seasons as an offensive lineman with the Titans, Bills, Ravens, and Jaguars.

Even during his football career, Marques was passionate about mentoring others-training athletes overseas and helping them grow both physically and mentally. That same drive to serve and elevate others is what powers his work today.
